KAREN MA THERAPY
Psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families.
APPROACH
Psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families.
APPROACH
I work from the belief that exploring the taken-for-granted and embracing complexity can open up the imaginative possibilities of living.
In therapy, there is no single or fixed idea of who you should be or how your story should unfold. Through speaking (even things that have never before found words), you can develop a richer understanding of your life, leading to choices that support more satisfying ways of being, evolving, and flourishing.
There is no limit to what we can talk about, but areas I often work with include:
— Anxiety
— Depression
— Feelings of failure or falling behind
— Gender and identity
— Impacts of childhood abuse and neglect
— Life transitions
— Outsiderness and living differently
— Personal growth
— Perfectionism
— Race-based stress
— Relationship challenges
— Work and career concerns

FAQs
( ) Fees
My fee is $200 for both individual and dyadic sessions. A portion of my practice is dedicated to working with people who need a sliding scale fee. We can discuss what a sustainable fee would be for you during our initial consultation call.
( ) Frequency
Typically, I meet with people on a weekly basis. Less frequent meetings will depend on my
availability and whether it is an appropriate level of care for the change you seek. I work in an open-ended way but throughout our time together
we will discuss how our work is going and end when you feel ready to end.
