KAREN MA THERAPY
APPROACH
People often come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, caught in patterns they can’t fully explain. You may appear outwardly successful, yet feel alienated, frustrated, or disoriented in ways that resist simple explanation or easy solutions.

APPROACH
People often come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, caught in patterns they can’t fully explain. You may appear outwardly successful, yet feel alienated, frustrated, or disoriented in ways that resist simple explanation or easy solutions.
Therapy offers a space to speak freely, even when what needs to be said isn’t yet fully known. While relief from anxiety, depression, or other painful symptoms is the immediate aim, the work also opens the possibility of addressing the deeper conflicts underlying these struggles. Through the therapeutic process, meanings can shift, and new ways of relating to yourself, others, and what you want can be discovered.
My approach is not about pushing you toward a fixed idea of who you should be. I aim to listen in a way that allows your speech to unfold without pressure and in that gap, something unexpected may begin to emerge.
AREAS OF FOCUS
I work with people facing a wide range of concerns, including:
— Anxiety
— Depression
— Relationship and family conflict
— Life transitions
— Effects of childhood experiences, including abuse and neglect
— Grief and loss
— Work stress and career uncertainty
— Perfectionism and self-criticism
— Creative blocks
— Persistent relational patterns that feel difficult to change
